Marinated together in early 2009 as the 5 member band like blending choice seasoned spices in a culinary treasure to create rock music for the world. Although, initially each member helms from different corners of the west region of the United States. They met and formed the band while living in Seattle, WA after a consistent time of artistically crossing paths. The underlining unspoken message the men want to say with their music is: “From the basement, to all the listening and visual audiences everywhere this is for you”.

“AM” (AnnAMercury) is comprised of Brady singing lead vocals, Jeff playing drums, Robin strumming the bass, with guitars being laced by both Pete and Ryan. All five share a mutual inner passion for music and a quiet determination to be as good as they possibly can be. The music that the band chooses to create is original in nature with a savory rock-n-roll flavor. And each member contributes by drawing on their own musical backgrounds in a combination of ways to make the songs happen.

After only seven months in the making the band is currently working on finishing its first songs to be recorded as an EP late summer in the legendary London Bridge Studio. Also, be sure to look for the band to begin their live public performances this coming November 2009 with much fanfare debut.

Ed Hartman:
Ed Hartman has recorded and performed with numerous bands, orchestras, dance and theatre companies including: Eric Tingstad and Nancy Rumbel, Tickle Tune Typhoon, and Ellipsis. In the Northwest, he has become a top freelance percussionist and recording artist. As a soloist, Ed has performed at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in NYC.
Originally from Chicago, Ed received his degree in percussion from Indiana University. Ed Hartman has written articles, sheet music and books about music for Olympic Publications, and C. Alan Publications. His albums "The River", and "Northwest Passage", have received national critical acclaim. "Marimbells of Christmas" has been heard on television, "Twas the Night" (HBO) and "Passions", (NBC), and in the motion pictures, "Surviving Christmas" (Dreamworks), and "Mini's First Time" (Arclight Films). He has scored music for T.V., radio, and even a planetarium. Ed is currently touring nationally as a YAMAHA performing artist and clinician. Ed also endorses Mike Balter mallets.

VerleeRose is looking for an experienced drummer (18-25) to complete their band. They have played 36 shows in the Seattle area over the last 17 months as an acoustic guitar & vocal duo and trio (w/piano) and are now looking to create and entire band, boost their sound, record new material and get back on stage!

About VerleeRose:
At only 15 years old, this duo (Keira Verlee & Ellie Rose) creates infectious hooks, thoughtful lyrics and tight vocal harmonies. Since May of 2008 they have written & released a 9 song CD (at 14 yrs old) and have played 36 shows in the Seattle area including The Showbox SODO, Vera Project, Old Firehouse, Columbia City Theater, KTUB & Northwest Folklife Festival just to name a few.

They are currently taking a break from playing live and focusing on new material to record a strong demo with a full band. Besides the two girls on guitar & vocals they already have a bass player and a pianist. ALL THEY NEED IS YOU!

They are looking for a drummer who can play different music styles (indie, rock, pop, folk, jazz, etc.) and understands how to compliment a song rather than over run it. Sometimes less is more... but also a drummer who can totally bring it on the more upbeat songs. Their new material is more upbeat in general and far more advanced than what is on the CD.

About me: I moved to Seattle a few months ago from Texas. I'm a 29 year old guitarist with an ear for the discordant, the aggressive and the melodic - I like to write cacophonous songs with hooks. I try to avoid conventional pentatonic chord structures and concentrate more on a combination of atmospheric picking and accompaniment to the drums and that sweet, heavy bass and heavy blow-your-frigging-ears out riffing. Like a combination of Duane Denison and Josh Homme.

As we mentioned last month, Strokeland Records artist Tony Adamo is releasing a cover song from the Eastbay's own “Tower Of Power”. Tony and record producer/guitarist Jerry Stucker, have dusted off the classic “This Time It’s Real”, and added their own “take” to the song.

“This Time It’s Real” is the first song from a new CD (Untitled) to be released by Tony Adamo in 2010. It will soon be released for airplay, but you can hear it here first, at HornDrivenRadio.com. We currently have this new offering in our rotation, and it will play three times in our nearly nine hour rotation.

Guitarist/producer Jerry Stucker brought in R&B/Soul -legend drummer, James Gadson (Bill Withers, Herbie Hancock and Quincy Jones),The organist Neil Larson (Gregg Allman, B.B.
