Providence Hospice of Seattle presents:

Providence Hospice of Seattle Pediatric Luncheon

Wednesday, September 20, 11:00am-1:00pm, Seattle

Dr. Brian Wong, a nationally recognized healthcare consultant, author and the first medical director of Providence Hospice of Seattle, will be the keynote speaker at Providence Hospice of Seattle's Pediatric Luncheon. The luncheon raises funds to help seriously ill and grieving children get the care they deserve, regardless of their financial circumstances.

Dr. Wong will talk on the subject: "When a cure is not possible, healing matters most."

With a career as a practicing family physician, physician executive, trustee, consultant, coach, author and culture change expert, Dr. Wong has spent the past 15 years traveling the country in search of answers to two questions:

1. What matters most?
2. Who do you trust?

Dr. Wong's research has included interactions with more than 5,000 physicians and 25,000 patients in all 50 states. The answers speak to the essence of why Providence Hospice of Seattle's children's programs provide such extraordinary value to children and their families at the most critical and vulnerable stage in their lives - when they are facing their own terminal or serious illness or grieving the death of a parent.

Dr. Wong will share his findings with the hospice community, connect his conclusions to the "secret sauce" of Providence Hospice of Seattle's pediatric programs, and inspire donors to support the non-profit organization's worthy cause.

Allan and Ashley Fee, personalities from Warm 106.9 radio, will emcee the luncheon. Proceeds will benefit Providence Hospice of Seattle's children's hospice and palliative care program and children's grief support program.
