LaCrese Green Shares Her Thoughts on Referendum 71

No question is ever settled until it is settled right.

Voting is ended and regardless of the outcome of Referendum 71, the issue is not resolved. Why not? The truth is still unknown. This article deals with only one or two that has not been presented.

Marriage is a covenant and by definition, it cannot be a contract, civil or otherwise.

Marriage is an irrevocable covenant between the man and her biological father. God gave Eve to -- not away, but -- to Adam. Since then the biological father does the giving. Why? HE OWNS HER!

God’s reasoning for giving the Ten Commandments was that He was our Creator and delivered us out of Egypt. In like manner, man has a right to ownership of his kids since we’re seed of our father’s seed, blood, bone, flesh, and mind of our biological father. (And that suits me fine!) Therefore, defraud not. In other words, don’t touch a woman UNTIL authorized to do so by her biological father.

Ownership vs. possessiveness: A lesbian couple in the Andersen, et al lawsuit wanted biological children. Sherry Kokx had a boy. Eighteen months or so later, Johanna Bender had a boy. Now all know that to have a child a woman must either be with a man or else take it from a sperm bank, eh?

How can any walk off with a man’s baby and not allow him to "father" his child? Flip the coin: What cruelty in not allowing a child to know and be fathered by his biological dad? Bender has a father. Why not allow that pleasure to the next kid?

Regardless, kids are just a chip off the old block or a replica of their biological dad, eh? By extension, a child must know and be around his dad in order to be able to establish an identity of who he is or what. Next, destroy a man in the eyes of his kid, and you’ve destroyed that kid regardless his age. (To deny the existence of his father is screwing with digits in a child’s head.) Therefore, it’s crucial that a child know and lives with his biological father, if alive. If dead, next of his kin.

For the sake of the child and in acknowledgement of his needs, all should do as Hannah did. After weaning at three years old, the child, whether girl or boy, should be taken to the biological father’s house and left there. If you don’t, you got a chicken with his head cut off and a fish out of the water and for life, unless God intervenes.

Which is more important: Playing games or the needs of a child? With the harlots where one accidentally suffocated hers and switch babies, Solomon said, "Cut the baby in half." One cried, "No, give the baby to her so it could live." Solomon said that she was the real mother.

Where was the motherly instinct in this case? Johanna Bender says her three week old baby had to be rushed to the hospital. The paramedics needed a signature and asked, ’Who is the mother?" All know that the question was asking for the biological mother. The two women responded, "We are." The female doctor chimed in, "They are." (Kokx had applied, but adoption papers not complete.)

Bender‘s sworn statement: "---The emergency medical workers seemed stumped, and the composition of our family required repeated explanations. The ambulance sat in the parking lot -- while the paramedics tried to figure out how to fill out the paperwork. I remember that with every passing second, I became more angry and more frightened that we were not on our way to the hospital. It was nerve-wracking to have to take the time in an absolute crisis situation, where our son’s health was in danger, to try to explain our status as a family. It was something that no parent should have to experience."

Who’s to blame for the delay and who could’ve prevented it? And should the issue of a family’s composition be raised with strangers? Especially, with paramedics in a crisis situation? Will their proposed solution of saying, "We’re now registered domestic partners." resolve anything?

I say not, because all understood the question merely asked: "Who is the biological mother?" Now two men can’t sire one child and neither can two women bear one child. Bender and both of her parents are lawyers and Kokx a science teacher. So why was there a problem in telling such? At what point should we stop playing games and allow reality to kick in? I say in defense of paramedics, etc., such nonsense should be outlawed and any guilty put behind bars. I give up on these two.

MARRIAGE IS AN IRREVOCABLE COVENANT. Yet, steps that led to the destruction of marriage: When woman gained the right to file for divorce in about 1950, marriage ceased being a covenant and became a contract that could be dissolved by either party. When incompatibility became grounds for divorce, it became a matter of entertainment for if one didn’t amuse or give pleasure to the other, then they divorced.

MARRIAGE AND KIDS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE MAN. Per our Constitution, the government should be totally out of the picture. Around 1930, a socialist divorcee in Germany with children sued the government for support. That’s when welfare for dependent children came into being. Up until then, widows and orphans were grateful for what they got and still are. And, behold! Not one opposite-sex couple with adopted or foster kids joined the lawsuit, and to my knowledge, not one testified for it.

To justify same-sex marriages, one Justice used their adopting and fostering kids. There you have the clashing of culture between the justice department and society. For those who remember, it was over the objection of the whole of society that they did so, eh?

Marriage is a covenant and cannot be reduced to a contract in any sense of the word. Furthermore, marriage is a private matter and the government should get totally out of the business.

Marriage was the first institution established by God. He is jealous of it and won’t allow any to break or defy the covenant in anywise. He made it honorable to marry and a beautiful relationship. He gave us examples of good and bad relationships in the bible and the freedom to choose which we wanted.

Marriage is honorable in all and the bed undefiled. Nothing dirty or unclean or harmful or damaging about it.

The purpose of the bed: For all other creatures, it’s for procreation only. But for man, it’s a feeding program. It’s a cow feeding a calf or a baby nursing. That substance drawn from man is her daily bread. It’s where she gets her energy, her vitality, the spring in her walk, the tilt of her head, the sound of her voice, the concern for her own, the interest she takes in life, etc.

The needs of a woman: Once she becomes active, she can’t return to a non-active state no more than a baby can return to a non-breathing state. A bride is like a new-born that hast to be fed every few hours. Or as the bible says, a man that marries can’t be charged with business or go to war for at least one year in order to stay home and cheer up his wife. And jilting her at the altar is the most painful and most devastating thing that can be done. This is why no woman should be touched UNTIL you, ole boy, have taken and sealed the covenant and for life. And don’t look now, but the bed consummates the marriage and if you‘re the first, you’re her husband and for life, unless God intervenes to annul the marriage.

Time has run out so I quit. To all have a good day.

Trap Neutar/Spay & Release (TNR) program needs help

Hello! Help is needed doing TNR and feeding stations for feral cats in the Rainer Valley (close to Columbia City). For about 2 hours and $30 a month you could make a big difference replenishing feeding stations. This keeps disease and fighting down, and feeds hungry cats.

Feeding stations also help control the population, keeping cats in one place to watch for any new kittens due to unspayed females. Currently we could use help with several sites needing trapping of kittens and females in order to keep the feral population to a minimum.

Please call Julie if you love cats and would like to assist with this effort in your community, primarily Rainier valley.

See attached picture of a beautiful kitten I trapped who is ready for adoption. :-)
