If so, the D2C Demo team needs you We are working on best:in:class demo retail demo experiences for the broad family of Amazon devices. The Demo team takes on many of the big challenges that are found where web services and consumer devices converge. We work on interesting projects, strive for a great work:life balance and have fun working on the latest devices before they hit the storesBachelors degree (or appropriate equivalent combination of training + work experience) in Computer Science, Computer Engineer or related technical field1+ years of experience in in at least one modern object:oriented programming language such as Java, C++ or C1+ years of experience in solving problems by effectively leveraging Computer Science fundamentals (including data structures, algorithms and OO)Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results6:12 months experience with service:oriented architecture and web application/services development6:12 months experience developing software for consumer electronics6 months experience working in a UNIX/Linux environmentThe ability to communicate with non:technical stakeholders to deconstruct and implement business requirements and conceptual demo experiencesEagerness to learn new skills and technologiesThe ability to work as part of a team of engineers, communicating well and working together to make great things happenAmazon is an Equal Opportunity:Affirmative Action Employer : Minority / Female / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation
