Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist (.50 FTE_ Float_ Bellevue/Seattle/Tacoma) Location: WA - Bellevue/Redmond-Bellevue Job Number: 180379 Come join the exciting Radiology Travel Group pool with Kaiser Permanente Washington! Our positions offer guaranteed benefits for the staff member to include Medical, dental, PTO accrual, Union Seniority, Short-term Disability and more. Our travel group positions primarily provide coverage for planned vacation and employee leave. This position will provide primary coverage for the Bellevue Medical Center and float to both the Capitol Hill and Tacoma Medical Centers as needed. This is not a per-diem position and it does not offer guaranteed hours per pay period but when averaged over an annual basis, the role will work a minimum if not more of it's designated FTE. Nuclear Medicine Technologist Provide quality patient imaging specific to Nuclear Medicine in accordance with physicians orders. Ensure patient safety and provide high quality testing. Prepare Nuclear Medicine rooms for patient procedures, develop films, maintain supply levels and ensure equipment is maintained and meets manufacture specifications. Operate equipment according to prescribed safety standards. Exercise professional, ethical judgment in performance of diagnostic services. Adhere to appropriate sterile techniques. Qualifications: Education Minimum Education Requirements High School Diploma/GED Knowledge/Skills Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements Intermediate Knowledge and expertise in performing required procedures. Communication, interpersonal, customer service and problem solving skills. Knowledge of radiation safety, safety precautions and infection control practices. Demonstrates a strong commitment to providing consistent excellent customer service. Works and communicates effectively with all populations, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatric. Experience Minimum Experience Requirements 1 year Direct experience in Nuclear Medicine. 1 year In a hospital setting. License/Certifications Minimum License/Certifications Requirements At time of hire Registration with the NMTCB or ARRT certification. External hires must pass a background check/drug screen.
