As a Hardware Support Engineer, you will engage with an experienced cross:disciplinary staff to develop innovative products. You will support our internal engineering and operations teams through all phases of the product development process from proof of concept testing through final deployment. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed in a fast paced collaborative environment. The Role: Work with senior engineers to develop and document test plansWork with senior engineers to specify test equipment and custom test station hardware and softwareHands:on assembly and qualification of test station hardware and development of test station softwareCarry out engineering verification and validation testing including optical, mechanical, and electrical testingPerform hands:on bring:up of new hardware, testing and troubleshootingDocument tests results and prepare test reports for presentation to senior managementMaintain test equipment and laboratory space for efficient operationsAssist senior engineers with day to day laboratory and documentation tasksMultitask and deliver on multiple projects concurrentlyBachelors degree in technical or engineering disciplineEngineering laboratory experience and hands:on laboratory skillsUnderstanding of basic electrical and optical test equipment, meters, scopesProficiency with MATLABAbility to format and organize complex data sets for presentationAbility to quickly learn and apply new engineering concepts and test methodsAbility to perform basic troubleshooting and root cause analysis on hardware, and test stationsAbility to work effectively in fast:paced and diverse technical environmentHands:on experience with optical test methods and qualification of electronic imaging systemsProficient in LinuxWorking expertise in C/C++, MatLab, PythonStrong metrics and operational excellence focus.Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast:paced environmentTechnical aptitude to quickly grasp complex technical issues and communicate directly with technical teams.Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results on technical projects.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non:technical leaders.
