Job Description JOB SUMMARY: Inspection of new construction cabinet installation, make touchups or small repairs as necessary, ordering replacement parts and insuring the cabinet installation are 100% complete in time to meet our customer’s schedule. SCOPE: Coordinates and requests service personnel or subcontractors in the repair and service of cabinet installation, orders replacement parts, checks status of ordered parts, acts as liaison with the jobsite superintendent to ensure 100% satisfaction of the project contract or customers’ expectations. Field Manager will ensure all assigned personnel or subcontractors follow company safety rules and regulations as well as any safety requirements put in place by our customers. Attends required jobsite safety meetings safety. RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES: 1. Oversees and/or supports the Installation and Service Team 2. Treats Customers and employees with courtesy and respect. 3. Ensures to provide all information is given on any general assistance needed to complete tasks. 4. Ensures that each house receives a complete and accurate inspection to ensure 100% quality. 5. Maintains records of all work completed. 6. Follows and enforces all applicable safety requirements to construction industry. PRIMARY DUTIES: 1. Inspection of cabinet installation. 2. Delegate assignments to service personnel throughout the shift. 3. Assist installation personnel with needed materials. 4. Inspect jobsites for “Job ready” cabinet delivery. 5. Inspect work job sites for safe working conditions OTHER DUTIES: 1. Periodically complete safety inspection of employee’s equipment and tools. 2. Additional related duties as requested by the Sales Manager or Production Manager. 3. Attend various department meetings and administrative hearings. 4. Complete disciplinary actions for supervised personnel. NON-PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High School diploma or equivalent. 2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 3. Organized & attention to detail. 4. At least 6 months supervisory experience. 5. At least 1 year experience as a cabinet installer/service. THE PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS LISTED BELOW ARE GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION. THE ACTUAL EXERTION LEVEL (AND FREQUENCY OF USE) CAN AND DOES FLUCTUATE DEPENDING ON THE INDIVIDUAL TASKS BEING PERFORMED. PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Ability to lift approximately 25 - 50 pounds repeatedly. 2. Ability to carry 40 - 50 pounds repeatedly. 3. Ability to push and/or pull 125 - 150 pounds on wheels. 4. Ability to climb ladders and onto platforms, etc. 5. Ability to maintain balance for ladder work, platform work and "team moving". 6. Ability to perform crawling, reaching, stooping and/or crouching motions repeatedly. 7. Dexterity in the hands and fingers needed to grasp objects of various sizes and shapes. 8. Ability to verbally communicate for telephoned dispatch work. 9. Tolerance needed to work in heat that could go above 100 F for extended periods of time. 10. Tolerance needed to work in cold areas below 32 F for extended periods of time.
