Apprentice Electrician in East King County (Issaquah). Wage Range: $18.00 - $35.00

Align Electric is a non-union full service electrical contracting company with a focus on service work. This means we have a driving passion for clean quality work for all of our customers as well as superior support for our employees. The work involved is commercial and residential service which involves medium as well as low voltage systems.

The successful candidate will be part of a service driven team, performing electrical installations and troubleshooting. The employee will also be required to be able to obtain a State of Washington Trainee Card and to attend in-class schooling as required (24hours per calendar year). To better your career path, the cost of the tuition is fully paid for by Align Electric.

You must have:

At least 2 years in a construction/mechanical trade.
Able to provide a valid Washington State Electrical Trainee Card
Clean Driving Record
Clean Drug Test and Non-Smoker
Proven ability to perform all field work health wise.


Responsible for assembly, installation, maintenance and testing of electrical equipment and wiring systems in commercial and residential settings.
Prepares work area for installation of equipment.
Installs or helps install electrical components.
Operates equipment only if trained and certified to operate. (Note: Powder activated tools, and JLG lifts and other operations that may require certification and training before operating).
Sets up and operates tools.
Secure and lock up equipment after use.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Stages and cleans each work area as well as storage of tools and materials.
Assists in related marketing and customer service.


Job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain. Wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses when needed), respirator when required. Able to work 8-10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, overtime as required and night shifts. Includes crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching, able to routinely lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds and pushing and pulling of objects is required. Repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of the job.
