Sr Manager, Payments Strategy
Position Overview
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Manager of Payments Strategy will lead Enterprise efforts to develop innovative new payment solutions that optimize payment processing costs including reducing fraud and improving collection rates, while enhancing customer experience. Key internal stakeholders include: Technology and Loss Prevention
Key Responsibilities
:Develop methodologies to analyze and continually improve payment flow processes and performance
:Lead projects to select and deploy solutions to reduce fraud and increase collections by taking an analytics based approach to authorization strategies
:Partner with other teams at Redbox on a cross:functional basis to identify the root causes of fraud and develop solutions
:Provide a payments voice on loyalty and customer engagement initiatives
:Support development and deployment of a Stored Value solution
:Monitor key trends in the payments space that can help lower processing costs, improve customer experience, or manage fraud / collections
:Modeling of financial impact and ROI analysis of various solutions over the short and long term
:Manage relationships with partners including acquirers, card brands, and other 3rd parties
:Participate in industry groups
Education and Experience
:Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering, or related analytic field
:7+ years of relevant work experience, with at least 3+ years of payments related experience including both traditional retail and e:commerce
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
:Experience in initiating and driving business opportunities
:Experience leading cross:functional teams
:Strong written and verbal presentation skills
:Highly analytical mind:set with prior experience in analyzing large data sets
:Ability to work in SQL; Python and R preferred
:Working knowledge of Accertify and / or similar 3rd party fraud tools
