As the Partner Marketing Advisor focused on the Apps and Infrastructure solution area within OCP Go-To-Market (GTM) team, you could be part of a significant transformation that will require the creation of new innovative GTM strategies and execution of plays with our Channel Partners to drive multi-billion-dollar business across the US Subsidiary. The PMA is a strategic partner marketing role that aligns to business priorities and is accountable for driving priority performance across partner segments. The PMA will focus deeply on the ISV ecosystem, growing Azure Customer Adds and building strategic plans to go big across key partners in the ecosystem to drive exponential growth for the company. This role is critical in working both externally with partners and cross-group accountabilities across Microsoft and the One Commercial Partner organization. The seniority of the role evidences Microsoft s deep commitment to the partner ecosystem to build a mutually beneficial business relationship by working closely with partner leadership. The PMA represents Microsoft to the channel, communicates our strategy, sells our vision and brings partners along in the digital transformation journey.
External Responsibilities:
1. Develop, support, and execute a go-to-market (GTM) plan for Apps & Infrastructure solution workload focusing on customer facing applications and rapid ISV development.
2. Launch and run marketing initiatives with and thru partner to drive Azure Customer Adds.
3. Orchestrate sales enablement, co-selling efforts, alliances, and external communities to generate leads for the business.
4. Develop and Lead GTM play readiness across Partners 5. Own GTM Play performance and communications with Partners. Lead results/outcome measurement and optimization.
Internal Responsibilities:
1. Launch GTM activities and create awareness across Microsoft Build-With and Sell-With teams as appropriate.
2. Be responsible to strategically balance investments across the OCP Organization aligned to partner strategy.
3. Manage Corporate and Local Programs aligned to Partner capacity and Microsoft Solution Maps.
4. Deliver program performance and Partner feedback to the business.
5. Provide insights, analytics and actions to drive change for the PMA Partner ISV team.
6. Collaborate with the Channel Management team to deliver measured sales execution on GTM Plays, effectively transferring opportunities and leads for timely follow up and entry into pipeline as appropriate.
7. Drive Partner solutions into internal sales enablement tools, including presentations, videos, and Partner evidence (i.e., Success Stories).
8. Own Microsoft Solution Maps for region and land maps with sales team.
9. Lead execution to deliver on Scorecard metrics; build and deliver Correction of Errors plans to address performance gaps against the Scorecard.
Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in product or channel marketing, partner channel development, business development, alliance management, through partner marketing in the technology industry
Preferred Experience:
Experience with technology platforms and solutions with a reasonable level of technical proficiency
Extensive experience of working with virtual teams across functions and geographies: Inclusive and collaborative - driving teamwork and cross-team alignment
Strong partner relationship management and solution development skills
Strong executive presence including communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort to large and small audiences.
Problem solving mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources, conflict resolution, and follow through with partners.
Bachelor degree preferred (Sales, Marketing, Business Operations); MBA desired
