Job Description:/h3:
Columbia Hospitality is currently seeking Retail/Tour Specialists within an iconic and historically significant building located in the heart of downtown Seattle, Smith Tower. The building offers tremendous views of the city, Elliott Bay and beyond. The building offers a retail space and tours of the historic building.
Retail/Tour Specialist
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Increase sales and ensure efficiency
* Maintain warm and professional attitude at all times to ensure exceptional guest experience
* Ensure that retail stores are well:displayed and upholding cleanliness and maintenance expectations
* Knowledge of the store products
* Anticipate guest constantly changing needs
* Able to sell tickets, handle cash
* Knowledge on the business and operations
* Maintain warm and professional attitude at all times while demonstrating and coaching positive suggestive selling techniques
* Follow up with
engineering/management on any maintenance issues related to retail store location
Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:
* Previous experience in retail environment and/or touring strongly preferred
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from team members, managers, clients, guests or the general public
* Basic math skills required for accurate currency handling
* Computer/register skills preferred
* GED or high school diploma required
