William Lyon Homes is looking for a Sales Counselor to work in the Seattle, WA area. This position promotes the sales of William Lyon Homes in assigned communities and ensures homebuyer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
:
Sell homes to buyers, this includes: greeting and qualifying homebuyers, demonstrating the homes and closing the sale.
:
Prepare paperwork, this includes: writing contracts and completing final addendums.
:
Handle homebuyer and/or agent concerns and questions regarding the construction, loan and closing processes.
:
Follow:up with homebuyer questions requiring research, prospective homebuyers who have not purchased as well as questions and concerns of homebuyers after closing.
:
Keep current on competition offerings such as: prices, incentives, lot sizes and features as well as competitor sales and closings for the week/month/year.
:
Monitor the loan progress of homes in escrow by obtaining status updates from Loan Officers and Processors and gathering information necessary to get loan approvals.
:
Walk through model homes on a daily basis to ensure all aspects of interior and exterior meet expectations.
:
Regular contact with the Division President, Homebuyers, Loan
Officers/Processors, Real Estate Agents, and Sales and Marketing Staff.

Education and/or
Experience/Licenses and/or Certificates:
:
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or at least one year of demonstrated experience in a sales environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
:
Real Estate License required.
:
Requires the ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with all levels of employees, homebuyers and their representatives.
:
Highly organized with the ability to handle a multitude of projects simultaneously.
:
Must have problem solving, prioritizing abilities, and interpersonal skills.
:
Requires self motivation, excellent listening skills, and high energy.
