Engility is dedicated to making lives better, safer and more secure.Engility is in need of a Facility Specialist/Assistant Building Manager to support our Labrador Program in Bangor, Washington. The Facility Specialist is responsible for regularly monitoring the operational status of systems equipment located in the facility such as fresh water pools, hydrostatic test equipment and cranes. They are also responsible for the coordination of periodic maintenance requirements with equipment servicing and operating activities. The Specialist will observe and monitor condition of fresh water testing pools; as approved and supervised by equipment servicing and operating activities, operate pumps and chemical injection, maintain oil/water separation and operate equipment related to water cleanliness. They will be tasked with the preparation and submittal requests to initiate work involving maintenance or repair to buildings via Public Works Department (PWD). Additional DutiesManage designated transportation pool vehicles; material handling equipment and housekeeping checklists.Make emergency or service calls to the PWD Service and Trouble organization for immediate repair or emergency services.Conduct periodic building inspections utilizing security, safety, energy management and housekeeping checklists.Coordinate contracted janitorial services schedules and escort requirements with facility tenants.Monitor quality of janitorial work performed and initiate improvement programs as needed.Assist Building Manager in all duties and temporarily serves as BM in their absence.Assist the BM to establish and maintain evacuation routes and muster points for fire and other emergencies.Participate in and monitor evacuation drills and serve as the designated Fire WardenAssist the BM to arrange and coordinate utility and maintenance outages with PWD and building occupantsAssist with periodic building inspections for condition, health, safety and security deficiencies utilizing designated checklists.Escort PWD or base services worked who perform work in secure spaces.Coordinate with FSO for assignment of appropriately knowledgeable escorts for supporting building systems maintenance performed inside classified work spaces. U.S. Citizen with an Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI elgibilityMinimum 5 years as a facility operations specialist in a mixed use, light industrial or research facilityFamiliarity with Navy Occupational Health and Safety programsFamiliarity with Naval Facility Command directives for crane operation and safety programsMinimum 5 years experience or certification equivalent for HVAC and ventilation systems including direct digital controlsApplicant required to obtain a government operator license for material handling equipment up to 20k lbs and aerial boom lift to 60ftExperience with NAVFAC and PWD construction projects and interface with Base Operating Services ContractsFamiliarity with Department of Defense Base Operating Services (BOS) contracts
