Growing local property management company is seeking to add an experienced Asset Manager to our team. The Asset Manager will oversee a portfolio of apartment communities located throughout King County, ranging in size from 25 to over 150 units. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and staff of these properties. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Direct on-site staff with resident concerns, leasing apartments, maintenance and management of each community.Be familiar with construction and maintenance of apartment communities.Prior experience with lease ups and new construction projects.Be able to negotiate, coordinate and understand the scope of work when utilizing outside vendors.Monthly review and understanding of financial statements.Prepare annual budgets.Regularly inspect and walk all communities.Must be able to handle conflict, diffuse issues and address concerns with residents and staff. Knowledge/Skill/Experience required:Bachelor's DegreeWashington State Real Estate LicenseMinimum 5 year's experience in an Asset Manager capacity (CPM certification a plus)Prior supervision of site and maintenance staffWell versed in construction and capital improvement projectsAble to perform duties with little supervisionKnowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Property Management Software (Appfolio, Onsite a plus)Ability to handle multiple projects The successful applicant will possess exceptional communication and organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure, be self-motivated and self-directed, have exemplary management skills, and be able to work with and direct on-site staff. This is not a resident or on-site manager position. This is a long term, full-time position. Compensation DOE and an excellent benefits package.
