Overview: To manage and grow the solutions consulting region through hiring, leadership, and enablement while serving as an integral member of the solutions consulting management team. To oversee the performance and delivery of support to the sales organization within the region while contributing to the growth of the region and department. Strategy Participate in organizational planning within Solutions Consulting department Create and execute a regional vision that aligns with the department and corporate strategy Formulate regional objectives that cascade down from department and corporate KPIs Develop regional actions required to meet operating objectives Continue to develop high-performance contributors to sales pipeline Manage professional development and career opportunities through support and enablement Execution Align with area vice president and/or regional vice president of sales and support end to end sales cycle Build succession planning for the position Define and then meet and/or exceed client engagement standards Hire, onboard, develop, retain, and define the career paths to meet the short and long-term profiles required by both the department and company Cascade department level strategies and objectives down to individual performance plans Review individual performance to meet mutually defined objectives Support other departmental needs as required Support sales by proactively delivering presales solutions to prospective and current clients Culture Continue to build a team of high energy, professional, solution-oriented individuals Live by our corporate values of speed, disruption, integrity, and accountability Sustain a belief of succession planning that moves people into other parts of the business to benefit both the individual and company Team player with other regions Sustain open, innovative, engaging culture that empowers individuals to actively contribute Opportunistic when approaching external sales insights Sustain work hard, play hard culture Authority Authority to act Hire within budget Ability to mentor underperformer with a performance improvement plan Recommend promotion and/or terminations provided action meets HR guidelines Develop internal processes that are not inter-departmental Build department specific training and development Establish regional events Distribute recognition bonuses within the region Requirements: 5 years of Solution Consulting experience or Management Consulting in a technology-focused firm Experience with Enterprise Performance Management consulting Experience in managing project, domain, or industry vertical team Proven track record of growing and mentoring co-workers Ability to both lead and execute About us: Anaplan is the planning cloud for Sales, Finance, Operations, and HR.
