Careers Start Here.A Post:Doctoral Research Fellow position is available in the Biostatistics and Biomathematics Department within Public Health Sciences ( The successful applicant will develop and apply statistical methods for biomarker development and outcome prediction. The Fellow will engage in methodological research in longitudinal and time:to:event data analysis as well as statistical learning for high:dimensional data. The Fellow will have opportunities to participate both prospective cohort study with longitudinal markers and medical studies using electronic medical records for outcome evaluation and developing cutting:edge statistical methods to address new challenges in these data. Suitable applicants should have a PhD or equivalent degree in Statistics or Biostatistics. Strong theoretical, computational, and communication skills are desired. Knowledge and experiences in survival and longitudinal data analysis, causal inference, missing data analysis and machine learning are preferred. In particular, a successful candidate should be able to write efficient programs in R and/or C. The position is available immediately and for up to two years.
