Washington Federal is seeking a high-energy, flexible and creative leader for a new role. This leader will design and launch a comprehensive approach to employee training and development throughout the organization. As the Training & Development Manager, you will be responsible for crafting, producing and implementing a blended training curriculum that promotes client advocacy, operational efficiency and technical skills. Initial responsibilities will include recruiting, hiring and building a strong, unified team of ten regional trainers. You will partner with the Human Resources Manager and Retail Banking Group Manager to identify needs and design a roadmap in line with the Bank's strategic goals and our brand promise: provide common sense banking that helps neighborhoods flourish.

* Ten or more years previous experience as a corporate Training Manager, preferably building programs and curricula.

* Proven strong leadership skills and ability to manage complex projects similar in scope.

* Demonstrated experience building operationally excellent training teams and a minimum of 5 years' experience managing trainers.

* Willingness to travel.
