Your Challenge: We are looking for a Software Test Manager to join our Ultrasound Software Integration & Test organization. You will manage a high performing team of software and clinical testers in partnership with the Software and Systems Engineering teams to ensure delivery of quality solutions in support of the Ultrasound product roadmap. Your Responsibilities: In this role, the Software Test Manager will be responsible for the following: · Manage the software and clinical test team throughout the development process in support of product releases which meet quality and business goals. · Partner with the Software and System Engineering teams on overall software development test strategy, execution and continuous improvement. · Develop and manage to key performance indicators for software quality and team performance. · Develop skills and improve effectiveness of testers on the team. · Ensure communication is occurring both within the team as well as with other engineering teams and other functional areas. · Perform various management tasks including budgeting, performance appraisal, salary administration, hiring, and employee coaching and performance management. · Take project management responsibility, directly or through delegation, for product releases within the Software Integration and Test team. Lead cooperative efforts among members of a project team or participate on a cross business group functional team. · Manage, directly or through delegation, test development and roadmaps as applicable to Ultrasound software development. Master’s degree preferred. · Demonstrated experience in Agile software development and/or test. · Proven track record leading teams to deliver projects on time with quality. · Strong interpersonal and communication skills. · Self-motivated individual with good organizational and time management skills. · Experience with functionally managing a team a plus.
