Come join a dynamic team of Health Care IT professionals. Along with traditional Project Management skills, we are looking for experience with:

  • Epic's Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and a track record of working with delivery system staff to develop workflows.
  • Lead large cross-functional IT project teams composed of numerous IT staff from multiple IT disciplines, and business/clinical subject matter experts from multiple departments.
  • Be responsible for the planning, development and execution of complex technical IT solutions.
  • Along with project management, provides IT technical expertise such as: programming, database and data design, networking, application interfacing, and use of multiple IT technical tools to manage technology.
  • Apply lean principles and A3 thinking to problem solve, resolve process issues, and improve customer experience.
  • Consult with business and IT leadership, management, and work unit teams. Analyze and documents current and future state workflow processes and IT system configuration, and recommends strategies for optimal integration of IT systems and use.


Minimum Education Requirements
Bachelors Degree Bachelors degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or combination of Bachelors degree and equivalent Computer Science / Information Technology experience

Preferred Education
Masters Degree Masters degree in Computer Sciences / Information Technology or combination of Masters degree and equivalent Computer Science / Information Technology experience

Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements

Advanced Ability to learn computer applications from a business and IT principles perspective to integrate into project planning.

Ability to learn new skills quickly and apply them.

Self directed learner comfortable with constantly evolving environments. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills required.

Skilled in project management methods and consultant techniques and approaches. Proficiency in use of MSProject, Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Advanced Computer programming, database/data design, application integration technology, technical IT tools
Advanced Ability to translate technical subject matter into concise, clear communication understood by technical and non-technical leaders and users. Accomplished interpersonal oral and written communications skills. Demonstrated aptitude to plan and organize complex work for self and others, and direct and assist others to meet quality and timeline targets and budget.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills
Advanced Working knowledge of management systems, business practices, and Lean quality improvement principles and methods.
Advanced Computer programming, database/data design, application integration technology, technical IT tools
Advanced IT analytic and project management knowledge and proficiency.

Minimum Experience Requirements
6 years Management of medium-scale, complex IT projects
8 years Experience in IT software design, build, testing, and implementation of medium-scale, complex projects.

Preferred Experience
8 years Management of large-scale, complex IT projects.
10 or more years Experience in IT software design, build, testing, and implementation of large-scale, complex projects.


Preferred License/Certifications
At time of hire Project Management certification
