Job Overview

As a Sr. Program Manager in the Cloud Business Group you will be responsible for defining and driving improvement, efficiency and consistency of our Cloud Operations processes across the SAP companies of Concur, Ariba, Fieldglass and potentially many other cloud applications in the SAP portfolio. Many of these product offerings have been acquired into the SAP portfolio. Our long term goal is to drive alignment over time so that our joint customers can experience a seamless service experience across these products.

This role will partner closely with Senior Technical Operations Leaders across the SAP cloud portfolio and is a high impact position requiring excellent program/project management process skills, strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, stakeholder and risk management expertise and proven program management success. Scope includes managing large, complex initiatives and ongoing process optimization to deliver on-time, high quality results positively impacting customer experience, operational alignment operational efficiencies. This role reports to the VP, PMO and SAP Integration at Concur.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning

Partner with SAP Cloud business operations leaders to drive key business initiatives and strategic planning across multiple businesses.

Build programs with near and long term initiatives to execute organizational goals.

Program & Project Management

Build, drive, and monitor programs and sub-projects to optimize Cloud Operations & processes.

Define and manage all program and project activities, including, but not limited to: scope and priority setting, building business requirements, identifying interdependencies, risk mitigation, issue tracking, quality management, resourcing, KPI monitoring, budgeting, training and communication planning.

Drive stakeholders and leadership alignment across the different businesses to deliver on top priorities.

Provide regular and timely communication of project status and progress towards goals.

Process Optimization

Drive process optimization and deep dive analysis of technical operations solutions, functions and processes resulting in delivery and rollout of consistent Customer Experiences.

Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across the different businesses to drive top priorities.

Build and maintain partnerships with internal partners.

Responsible for customer/stakeholder satisfaction.

PMO Methodology & Processes

Drive PMO process to align with organizational goals using consistent project/program management processes and framework.

Coach and mentor business leaders and colleagues on PMO processes and methodologies.

Additional Responsibilities

Work independently and as a team within Cloud Operations, Service Management, Customer Support, PMO, Security & Compliance, Legal, Services, etc.

Resolve complex issues across organization with minimal supervision.

Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies.

Qualifications

Education, Experience & Training required:

10+ years of experience working in Cloud Operations roles with a developed understanding of SaaS, Service Management, ITL, Security & Compliance and other technical operations topics.

10+ years of project/program management experience with increasing amount of responsibility.

ITIL Foundations certification

Demonstrated experience with large scale SaaS systems

PMI, Six Sigma or equivalent certification desired

Formal PMO experience using standard PMO tools and processes.

Bachelor's degree required.

Ability to pass a background check.

Job Specific Specialized Knowledge & Skills:

Proven success in building and driving projects within a large, complex program, including managing international, multi-cultural, and virtual cross-functional teams.

Experience in business operations optimization, including, but not limited to: entitlements tracking, provisioning, onboarding, offboarding, service management processes, monitoring & service status, incident management, security & compliance, disaster recovery, policy alignment, analytics/dash-boarding, best practices, etc. Ability to build consensus, create momentum, and work well cross-functionally with other departments and varying levels of management.

Proven success in building, analyzing, and monitoring KPI, operational & financial data, and success measures.

Comfortable partnering with Senior Leaders across multiple businesses to drive strategy, planning, and process improvements.

Strong stakeholder management skills with focus on listening to stakeholder and customer needs.

Ability to analyze data and connect the dots, making recommendations to management and project members in a timely manner.

Solid process and analytical skills tied with creative thinking and sharp decision-making abilities.

Excellent, accurate, and effective oral and written communication skills.

Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.

Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and principles.
