Job Overview
This position is responsible for helping start up the Value Consulting Practice at SAP Concur. Initial responsibilities will include learning how SAP delivers value consulting and applying this learning to develop a toolset, methodology and process for Concur to deliver the service. Once we have developed a toolset, methodology and process for Concur' s products and services, the next step for this individual will be to help the Concur Enterprise US/CA organization achieve their sales goals by leveraging the Value Consulting organization to increase sales. This individual should possess extensive experience in a could software environment with demonstrated ability to build strong cross:functional relationships and strong client facing skills.
Essential Functions:
A Value Consultant provides expert consultation on value selling and implementation processes which includes the development of business cases with quantified monetary benefits that help create a value:based strategy for technology sale and deployment.
:Customer Engagement: Develop value based strategies and business cases with quantified monetary benefits for sale and deployment; Apply value:selling methods, benchmarks and tools to deliver comprehensive value propositions.
:Thought Leadership: Develop and standardize content and thought leadership around critical components of the SAP Concur solution portfolio. These assets include but are not limited to value propositions, competitive positioning, and industry best practices.
:Field Enablement: Develop strategic internal relationships with sales and other key SAP Concur leaders, and enable internal teams via training materials and sessions.
:Trusted Advisor: Create strong, value:centric customer relationships that drive Value Realization through the customer lifecycle.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
:Excellent strategic, leadership and problem solving skills
:A strong track record of collaborating cross:functionally
:Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills
:Extensive experience in a client facing role
:Ability to work effectively in a small team and serve in many roles as we build out the practice.
Training and Experience:
:Bachelor's Degree in related field or other relevant combination of training and experience
:6+ years of recent Concur experience is strongly preferred
:Experience building and retaining strong customer relationships
:Experience working with Enterprise size clients
:Comfortable working at the executive level with clients
:Experience with Concur Best Practices guidance a plus
