Your Responsibilities Manage the oversight of the Philips Vendor Credentialing Program for U.S. Philips employees as well as other employees entering the U.S. to conduct business. Central point of contact and information source for employees aiding in approval and authorization of compliance with (customers') Credentialing requirements whether managed by HCOs in-house or through one of the 3rd party Vendor Credentialing Organizations (VCOs). Develop and maintain program processes, policies, training, and intranet site tools. Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely documentation of requests, contacts, and request approval and communications processes including identifying information, e.g. employee, VCO, hospital name, status, etc. Process criminal background checks, annual sex offender checks, and drug screens upon receipt of signed Consent Form from employees. Review Weekly HR Report each Monday and send New Hire Welcome emails. Monitor and accept employees throughout the day who are connecting to the Credentialing Team using the SECURE (Reptrax) “CA Connections” feature. Identify additional resources or third party partnerships necessary to comply with HCO requirements. Monitor Philips compliance with credentialing requirements and manage the quarterly analysis of qualitative and quantitative data to support Philips Strategies. Liaison with federal government contracts team for VA and DoD credentialing-related requests. Review new HCO requirements and contract language as requested by contracts team. Manage relationship and communication with HCO agents making such requests. Identify new opportunities for potential third party vendor credentialing partnerships. Present initiatives and strategies to senior staff to justify the simplification of our internal customer request processes. If applicable, manage the initiation, negotiation and maintenance of agreement with third party. Build relationships, communicate effectively, and quickly resolve problems with employees, HCOs, and VCOs. Order annual Statement of Insurance documents and customized Statement of Insurance documents when requested. Upload new documents to Intranet and Vendor Credentialing Organizations as needed. Membership and participation in the Vendor Credentialing Consortium to strategize and continually move towards industry credentialing standardization. (Senior Credentialing Managers only) Perform other duties or responsibilities as necessary or assigned. Requirements: 4-year degree, preferably in Business Management or related subject Strong interpersonal skills. Customer focused – both internal and external. Ability to mediate and negotiate effectively and to manage relationships and complex activities. Ability to think creatively, and to develop/recommend alternative procedures and/or approaches to resolving issues. Ability to analyze complex issues, and anticipate consequences of decisions or actions. Ability to make good decisions, participate in strategy development and take action which affects the achievement of Philips business goals and objectives. Ability to define data and information needs, and compile, analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
