We are currently seeking a talented Outreach and Programming Manager to join our Seattle, Wash., team. You will work alongside our Executive Director to cultivate interest and participation in Woza, while also helping plan and execute our annual events and international summer trips. Core position duties include: (1) outreach & sales, (2) programming and (3) general operational support.

We seek someone passionate about the power of soccer, cross-cultural connection and travel. You must be able to clearly articulate and sell someone on the value of the Woza mission and product—and strongly believe in it yourself! You should be eager to jump into both the challenges and rewards of working in a start-up nonprofit environment. There is a lot of room for innovation, creativity, influence and new directions, as well as challenges as the organization paves new paths and makes decisions while operating in a fiscally responsible manner.

Successful candidates will be invited for an initial phone interview and subsequent video-call or in-person interviews in Seattle, Washington, in late September and early October 2017.


Become part of an exciting and developing nonprofit in vibrant Seattle, Wash.
24/7 access to office space in centrally located Eastlake neighborhood of Seattle. There will be some flexibility with days of the week and hours, with option to work remotely one day per week, but the goal is to overlap with the Woza team as much as possible.
A generous paid vacation allowance, including one week off in April and three weeks off at the end of the summer travel season (late August to mid-September), in addition to most holidays.
There will be some domestic travel required in November and January-March, as well as nearly four weeks total in New Jersey (with housing & meals provided) split between June and August. It is necessary to be on call for some nights and weekends late June through early August.
Possible opportunity for international travel to visit Woza’s partners or lead our trips


Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including the ability to draft well-written copy, speak on the phone, give in-person presentations and pitch Woza’s value through these various channels
Additional Spanish language knowledge preferred.
