**This HR Service Center Specialist role is a limited duration position**

We are looking for a skilled problem solver to join our team as a HR Service Center Specialist. We need an enthusiastic individual who can listen, respond and resolve questions from employees or managers regarding benefits, retirement, employee relations and compensation matters. The successful candidate for this role will have a strong command for customer service, time management and organizational skills and an ability to offer quick and accurate assistance to employee regarding inquiries received.

Description Summary:

Responsible for the day to day administration of the HR Service Center workflow and coverage. Assists in scheduling and coordinating the work of the team and meetings. Answers incoming calls providing resolution of initial and escalated complaints and inquiries, escalating to management or other HR functional areas as needed. Assists HR Service Center leader in developing standard work, service level agreements and key performance indicators for all areas of the department using Lean principles. Responsible for resolution of complex HR issues related to HR/HRSC programs, benefits, employee relations, compensation. Conduct research of issues as appropriate and provide resolution according to service level agreement. Provide project management and administrative support for the projects and programs within the HR Service Center. Performs system administration duties for the Newhire, Position Code, Job Changes, and Termination/Unemployment

databases.

This position is ideal for someone who wants to explore and advance their career in Human Resources.

Hours of operation: Variable Monday thru Friday 7a-7p; Saturday 9a-12p

Qualifications

Education
Minimum Education Requirements
High School Diploma/GED

Preferred Education
Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge/Skills
Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements
Program management skills including timelines, scope and team management. Verbal and written customer service skills Microsoft Excel and Word user

Preferred Knowledge/Skills
Intermediate HR module ERP experience. Crystal report writing. Advanced Microsoft Excel user. Intermediate Microsoft Access user.

Experience
Minimum Experience Requirements
3 years Human Resources and or customer service experience (experience may be concurrent).

Preferred Experience
5 years Human Resources; customer service; supervisory; or general HR experience (experience may be concurrent).

License/Certifications
Minimum License/Certifications Requirements
None Required

Preferred License/Certifications
At time of hire PHR Certification.

External hires must pass a background check/drug screen.
