Amazons Finance organization is scaling rapidly as the company continues to grow. Supporting our CFO organization, the Executive Recruiter will work with Amazons most senior Finance leaders to find, attract and engage executive Finance talent to drive each major Amazon business into the next phase of innovation. This role is unique in that you will be able to see every Amazon business through the lens of Finance. The successful hire will support Finance hiring across a cross:section of AWS, Kindle/Digital, BizDev, Consumer, Operations and Customer Service, and Finance Business Services. There is always more to learn about our incredible ecosystem, and there will never be a dull moment Reporting to an Executive Recruiting Lead and based in our corporate offices in Seattle, the Executive Recruiter will utilize and continue to develop a range of skills to find the best talent for Amazon including executive search research and talent mapping, networking and candidate development, interviewing and assessment, and offer delivery.The Executive Recruiter will drive search execution by: Conducting research to map industry markets and generate top Finance candidate names and profilesCreating robust search strategies and executing against these search plansCalibrating candidates with hiring managers, and leading bi:weekly executive search update callsDeveloping prospects into candidates, engaging them and performing initial assessmentContinually contributing to the knowledge base of the group by providing education on industries and talent pools/profilesBuilding out talent networks in certain functions/industries and tapping knowledgeable industry resources to develop an initial pool of candidatesConducting on:site interviews and participating in debriefsProviding strategic guidance and advice in a true partnership with executive leadershipThe ideal candidate will have exceptional research, executive sourcing and assessment skills, and a personality that can keep up with an entrepreneurial, fast:paced recruiting culture. He/she will be someone who can work autonomously and as part of a team, who is articulate and possesses solid oral and written communication skills, and who is a good listener.
