Resourceful HR is seeking a Compensation Specialist

Resourceful HR is currently seeking a Compensation Specialist for our client located in Issaquah, WA. This is a regular/full:time opportunity.
Overview: In addition to the day to day operational aspects of compensation, the Compensation Specialist will research, analyze and make recommendations for the US compensation program. This individual will partner with leaders to help impact change and provide valuable knowledge and resources regarding total rewards. Our client is seeking an excellent communicator, who is self:directed and excels in a fast:paced, evolving environment.
Responsibilities:
Administer and manage salary structure administration and company incentive programs, including Plant, Corporate and Sales Incentives.
Review, update and/or develop job descriptions
Participate in external compensation benchmark surveys
Provide compensation recommendations for Marketing Proposals
Participate with Mobile Transitions with regard to compensation matters.
Process Sales Incentive Payments
Conduct ad hoc salary reviews for plants / positions as needed during the year.
Provide backup support to the Benefits Specialist.
Keep current on compensation and benefit industry trends along with best practices and innovation possibilities.
Serve as a compensation and benefit resource to employees, family members and the HR Team. Partner in providing compensation and benefit education to the HR Team.
Partner to plan, develop and implement annual employee communication and training plans, including semi:annual events, lunch and learns, monthly benefit focus topics and new hire orientation.

Qualifications:
BA or BS degree or equivalent experience in related field is highly desired.
2:4 years of Human Resources experience desired with 2+ years in compensation.
PHR/SPHR or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) desired.
Knowledge of Fair Labor Standards Act, including wage and hour regulations and the Equal Pay Act.
Current working knowledge of federal and state compensation and benefit laws and regulations including COBRA, ERISA, HIPPA, Section 125 and the Affordable Care Act.
UltiPro experience is highly desired. Excellent computer skills, including MS Office : Outlook, Word, Excel.
May require up to 15:20 travel.
