The Tummy Temple is hiring a full time Assistant Manager to join our team.

The Tummy Temple has been in business for over 15 years with two locations; Seattle and Greater Olympia.  We are a steadily growing small business with a combined team of around 20 practitioners and administrators.  The work environment is warm, professional and team-oriented. Compensation & Benefits include:
This position is a full time [40 hrs/wk] salaried position with medical benefits and paid time off. It is a Sun-Thu schedule. Initial pay is targeting $15-$17/hr base salary depending on experience, open to negotiations for significant experience.

* Wage: $15 - $17/hr depending on experience + product commissions for facility and online sales
* 75% coverage for comprehensive group medical coverage.
* Paid time off for Thanksgiving and Dec 25th if those are normal work days with opportunity for more paid vacation time based on longevity of position.

Ideal candidates will have a passion for natural health care and considerable administrative experience in spas or clinics.  As this position is in direct support of the General Manager, candidates will both follow direction and be self-managing.  This position comes with significant on-the-job training & formalized education through product training, team case study meetings and skill development opportunities.  Primary topics include customer service & sales skills, web development, natural health care issues and how to align client needs with service offerings, products and practitioners.  Tummy Temple is looking for individuals that are able to commit to our team for a minimum of 2 years as there is a significant investment in training, and we seek to minimize turnover to ensure a stable client and work experience for all.  
Applicants should love team work, learning, and challenging their professional and personal growth.  To maintain the sanctuary like environment of the clinic, candidates should have skills in conflict resolution, personal stress management, and a healthy lifestyle.  This position is very important to the mood, flow, stability, security and success of the Tummy Temple and provides a major tuning fork for both staff, customers and suppliers.  Reception skills should be warm and engaging while maintaining a professional demeanor.  The overall management style of the business is positive and coaching-oriented.  Assisting the General Manager with communicating and directing staff is essential.  

A significant aspect to this position is sales.  It is important that the candidate has strong sales skills (whether natural or learned), as they are often the first point of contact with new customers.  Savvy social media skills are essential, as is a basic understanding of the importance of web presence in marketing.  Ease and enthusiasm in hosting events (open houses, education classes, VIP events, etc.) is also a significant part of this role.  
Candidates will be very strong in technology (ability to learn new software QUICKLY with fast and accurate typing skills), have excellent phone management and communication skills, and excel with accuracy in administrative tasks.  As this person will be managing appointments, website updates, events & social networking posts, it is critical they are detail-oriented and well-organized.  Managing multiple tasks and closing loops should come naturally to the ideal candidate.  

Basic responsibilities include:

* Answer phones
* Client outreach to fill books
* Check clients in and out [Quickbooks skills a plus]
* Help clients schedule appointments with an online scheduling system
* Help manage inventory
* Weekly cash auditing
* Collections
* Support management, administrative and practitioner staff
* Maintain facility (cleanliness, plants, etc.)
* Edit newsletter
* Update social networking communications, online store & website [will train]
