Job Summary The Vice President for Enrollment is charged with managing the recruitment and retention strategies of The Bear Creek School. The VP for Enrollment supervises all admissions, marketing, communications, and public relations initiatives. Primary Responsibilities · Provides leadership for the school’s admissions, marketing, communications, and internal community building teams. · Develops and inspires staff; provides direction for day-to-day operational needs; determines and measures success markers, manages departmental budgets · Nurtures thoughtful and productive relationships within the whole school community, including faculty, staff, parents, volunteer groups and alumni · Oversees the development of strategic enrollment and marketing plans along with yearly goals that are aligned with the school’s mission, vision, and goals · Oversees the timely and cost-effective use of various media and other resources to communicate information about the school to internal and external constituents, including proactive and effective digital strategies and public relations · Represents the school to various groups including alumni, students, families, community leaders, businesses, donors, board members, and government representatives · Assists the President and Headmaster in marketing and communicating major school events, groups, and activities that advance the school · Oversees that a consistent and concise messaging, based on the school’s mission and vision, are delivered to the internal and external community · Attends to other leadership responsibilities as assigned by the President and Headmaster Critical Performance Competencies · Provide administrative leadership to a diverse team of professionals by building unity of purpose, ongoing professional development and a deep understanding and expression of the institution’s mission. · Positively support the school’s policies and practices and work collaboratively in a professional organization · Truthful, positive, and purposeful when communicating with others · Able to use strong written and oral communication skills to transfer thoughts and express ideas · Strategic leadership of a wide variety of marketing platforms, analytics and emerging technologies to measure success strategies and effectively recruit and retain Bear Creek students and families · Flexible and adaptable in dealing with new, different or changing requirements · Maintain confidentiality and security of information. · Hold self and others accountable to accomplish results · Effective in handling multiple concurrent tasks · Familiar with Microsoft Word and Outlook, ability to learn and work with the school’s integrated data-based software package and web platform as needed · Adhere to biblical standards in all areas of conduct Physical Requirements · Work in a highly engaged environment dealing with a variety of creative challenges, tasks, deadlines and personalities. · May work at a desk and computer for extended periods of time; · Regularly use close and distance vision; · Occasionally lift up to 30 pounds; · Work in a traditional climate controlled office environment with occasional visits between campus buildings, requiring exposure throughout the day to the outside elements Disclaimers The Bear Creek School is an equal opportunity employer and is required by law to perform background checks on selected qualified candidates.
