Position Description:
The Program Manager Principal I is responsible for driving Concur Travel, Expense and Invoice:related initiatives that require complex and highly cross:functional coordination. This role will specifically execute R and D programs while partnering closely with Product Management, Product Marketing, Global Operations and other senior leaders across the business specifically to address high impact technical projects and initiatives. This position requires strong analytical and problem:solving skills, with proven success in launching global products, providing field enablement and working with both internal and external customers. The scope of the role includes launching new products and services globally, defining strategies and technology platforms to facilitate the distribution and use of Concur's API's all while supporting the many ongoing Product and Technology initiatives. Success is defined by the preparedness of cross:functional teams, the on:time launch of products and services and the satisfaction of internal and external clients.
:Define and manage all program and project activities, including, but not limited to: scope and priority setting, building business requirements, project plans, identifying interdependencies, risk mitigation, issue tracking, quality management, resourcing, budgeting, training and communication planning.
:Understanding the cross:functional implications of product on the customer experience and overall satisfaction.
:Driving to completion any dependent deliverables of cross:functional teams.
:Build and monitor program metrics and KPI's while providing regular updates to leadership.
:Map out and document processes, highlighting improvement opportunities.
:Provide regular and timely communication of program status and progress towards goals.
:Build and maintain partnerships with internal and external customers and partners.
:Design and lead training and adoption planning activities.
:Build and lead effective change management and communication strategies.
:Adhere to PMO process using consistent program management processes and framework.
:May include up to 25 travel : domestic and international.
:Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies.
Position Requirements
Education, Experience and Training required:
:10+ years of program management experience with increasing amount of responsibility.
:5+ years SaaS and Sales Operations experience with strong background in process redesign and cross:functional coordination.
:Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred.
:Formal PMO experience using standard PMO tools and processes.
:Ability to pass a background check.
Job Specific Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
:Proven success in building and driving projects within a large, complex program, including managing international, multi:cultural, and virtual cross:functional teams.
:Experience in business operations optimization, including, but not limited to: common sales processes, account management, pricing, billing, contracts, renewals, customer lifecycle management, service terminations, commissions, analytics/dash:boarding, organization restructuring, best practices, etc.
