Requisition Summary
Be a team leader in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) of Engineering data. Develop and support Engineering related applications and projects including configuration and implementation of technologies, processes, and procedures. Main applications include PTC Windchill, Creo Parametric, and related tools.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
:Develop the Product Lifecycle Management Roadmap in partnership with the other PACCAR truck and IT divisions to drive improvements to product design quality, efficiency, and accuracy.
:Plan, coordinate, and execute PLM and Computer Aided Design (CAD) related projects and new technologies to commonize and improve engineering processes and procedures.
:Lead a team providing on:going support, consultation, and training for users of Windchill, Creo Parametric, and other engineering applications to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
:Manage, create, and maintain application standards and procedures to ensure appropriate use of PLM technologies.
:Be a technical leader with new PLM and CAD functions, features, and requirements, including participating in PTC committees.
:Set goals and conduct performance evaluations for team members.
Qualifications and Skills
:Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent required.
:5 years experience with product development engineering environments with change management systems.
:5 years technical background in Windchill PLM and Creo Parametric CAD systems
:Experience with Windchill configuration, programming, and administration desired.
:Successful track record of teamwork and strong, proven analytical skills.
:Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to adapt, implement, and enforce new procedures and technical applications.
:Ability to lead process improvement projects and technical application implementations to meet the needs of a large user base.
:Experience with engineering product development processes, modeling requirements, release procedures, and standards desired.
:2 years of experience as a group supervisor desired.
:Masters or advanced degree desired.
