JOB SUMMARY The Director of Training develops directs and leads Junoa s training program for GxP Environmental Health Safety EH S and Corporate Compliance The incumbent will build and sustain a high performance training and education team which ensures strong alignment and coordination to meet Junoa s GxP compliance objectives The Director of Training will provide strategic leadership for GxP training initiatives will collaborate with training leaders at other Juno sites to develop training and education strategies to continuously improve effectiveness standardize and harmonize processes of the strategies and their implementation This role has direct reporting responsibility to the SVP Regulatory Quality The incumbent will have significant engagement with Juno Seattle Juno San Francisco and Juno Bothell management and participate in cross functional leadership strategy meetings JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Owns the business process for the training function including training administration using Junoa s electronic Learning Management System eLMS Design implement and manage the training strategy for Juno and ensure it supports and contributes to the Junoa s overall business strategy and objectives a Develop and implement training systems and procedure to assure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies Aid in the development and implementation of standardized competency based training program working in conjunction with functional leaders subject matter experts and training specialists Develop multi faceted training delivery methods to utilize varied learning abilities within the workforce Implement and administer cGMP HSE and other assigned training programs Ensure ongoing training requirements are developed and delivered to all employees Lead Junoa s Training Council with representatives from across the organization that will be involved with identifying training needs and establishing priorities Partner with department heads to develop training strategies fit for their respective staff and in compliance with existing regulations Partner with department managers and supervisors to assure curricula are in place for their respective staff Identify learning and training gaps and areas of weakness and advise the senior leadership team on solutions Develop implement measurement criteria to assess effectiveness of training and report compliance metrics at Corporate and site levels Ensure documentation practices and systems are in place to monitor and maintain training requirements history and qualifications Analyze training needs across the organization and work with the executive leadership teams to determine appropriate training budget Audit individual training plans Establish departmental and individual goals and objectives in alignment with Juno Corporate goals and priorities Identify performance improvement targets and metrics Ensure capabilities and capacity in place to effectively deliver on Training department commitments and performance targets Develop and implement quality standards or trainer qualification requirements for internal and external trainers and teachers Manage internal and external training providers to ensure quality standards are met QUALIFICATIONS BS BA degree and a minimum of years of related experience with years in an FDA regulated environment Must have extensive experience delivering training in a GxP environment Experience negotiating with internal and external stakeholders Must have extensive experience developing and implementing training using a learning management system THINK BIG BE BRAVE DELIVER
