Key Areas of Responsibility and Tasks
In this Business Insights (BI) role, you'll be responsible for developing efficient and effective data collection and data sharing practices. You'll need to be highly motivated, adaptable, resourceful and entrepreneurial since you'll be integral in creating new data practices for the SMB Team.
The primary goal of the role is to help the team focus on what matters most as we make investment and positioning decisions, by product, market and vertical by leveraging multiple data sources. In this role, the BI Specialist will work on the Marketing Strategy Team to establish best practices when it comes to collecting, presenting and using data for the SMB Marketing team and SMB Team as a whole. You'll be a key resource for both our marketing, product teams as well as our executive team.
Marketing Strategy employees are responsible for collecting and monitoring data from multiple sources to constantly verify the SMB Team marketing approach. Additionally, it is the role of marketing strategy employees to make data accessible to all roles across the team. Marketing Strategy employees know the SMB Team business in and out : which means a deep understanding of the products, the customers, the business goals, and the plans in place to help the team meet their targets.
More specifically, The BI Specialist will perform the following tasks:
:Provide data services to inform how we focus our business priorities
:Work with the development and partner teams to help drive growth through data insights to inform our future roadmaps
:Help give guidance to teams to reach marketing goals as defined by KPIs for their product and region
:Understand the sales pipeline and the source of sales leads
:Develop and document workflow processes as they relate to data collection, mining and sharing
:Help manage projects to establish new data practices
:Perform analytics and predictive modeling on third:party data sets as well as our own primary research
:Evaluate the ERP and front office space regularly to keep a pulse on the competitive landscape
