The Accounts Payable Supervisors role involves close interaction with various departments within the corporate headquarters and personnel throughout organization. The AP Supervisor will oversee the day:to:day accounting functions of the Accounts Payable Department and is responsible for supervising, mentoring and motivating a staff size of two.

Job Functions / Responsibilities 13;
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE AND GENERAL ACCOUNTING:
:Oversee the processing of vendor invoices and expense reports for Corporate Accounts Payable, including researching inquiries, providing guidance on coding and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
:Review checks runs and ACH payments.
:Prepare and review month:end journals and perform and review reconciliations on various key accounts.
:Prepare timely, accurate and meaningful financial reports for internal management. Reporting covers key areas of the business, including annual overhead budgeting and monthly greybook.
:Manage cross:charges to other PACCAR entities, and review the balancing process with other entities.
:Review and research department overhead, forecast and budget reports, coordinating with other departments as their accounting representative to ensure proper accounting and management of expenditures.
:Perform SOX testing and initiate process improvements.
:Review the accounting of the PACCAR Foundation and the Paul Pigott Scholarship Fund.
:Review the PC purchase, tuition reimbursements, corporate credit card and relocation programs accounting.
:Coordinate various year:end projects such as 1099s and sensitive payment audits.
:Assist with special projects. 13;
Qualifications and Skills 13;
SKILLS REQUIRED:
:Previous supervisory experience.
:Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
:Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
:Strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel.
:Strong organizational skills required to manage various projects.
:Deadline:driven and self:motivated.
:SAP experience desired. 13;
Education and Training Required 13;
:BS/BA Accounting Degree.
:3 + years of relevant accounting experience.
:Supervisory experience. 13;
