Description: DescriptionWe are seeking a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to provide a wide range of integrated behavioral health services as a core member of the Primary Care Clinic at the Kent Medical Center.

LICSWs have a key role in supporting medical teams in delivering evidenced-based wellness and lifestyle management interventions to populations across the lifespan. The LICSW is responsible for psychosocial assessments, diagnosis of mental health conditions, providing brief interventions and short term counseling around substance use disorders and behavioral health concerns. The LICSW collaborates and consults with the team and patient to establish patient centered plan of care. The ideal candidate will bring a strong behavioral and socioecological lens to patient care, and have demonstrated success as part of a highly adaptable, integrated healthcare team.

Hours are Tuesday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.


Minimum Education Requirements
Masters Degree Masters of Social Work (MSW).

Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office. Demonstrated success as part of a multi-disciplinary team and commitment to diversity.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills

Intermediate Knowledge of evidence based brief interventions to address behavioral health concerns. Ability to manage ongoing short term therapy caseload while also maintaining same day availability for urgent behavioral health needs. Basic knowledge of psychiatric medications. Familiarity with EPIC or other electronic charting systems.

Minimum Experience Requirements
4 years previous social work experience

Preferred Experience
4 years Post-Masters experience preferably in health care, 1 year integrated behavioral health experience.

Minimum License/Certifications Requirements

At time of hire Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) for MSW in Delivery System Operations.

External hires must pass a background check/drug screen.
