Be a part of creating a new vision for what special education can look like Seneca Family of Agencies is seeking dynamic team members to support the implementation of an integrated, responsive special education model that provides equitable opportunities for all students. We are seeking excited, passionate staff who are willing to work collaboratively and innovatively to do whatever it takes to ensure that the needs of all students are met and to establish best practices for serving youth with disabilities. The School Psychologist collaborates with the students, families, community partners and the school team to remove student barriers to learning and build safe and healthy environments for academic success.Conduct individual and group evaluations and diagnoses of learning, behavior and/or adjustment problems of children and youth at assigned schoolsProvide guidance and assistance to children with learning, behavior and/or adjustment problems at assigned schoolsSupport the development of appropriate individual and/or group programs of instruction and treatment of students in assigned schoolsSystematically reassess children with special educational needs as appropriateProvide inservice training in learning, child development and child management to parents, teachers, administrators and other professionals and paraprofessionalsProvide consultation and advisement to administrators, teachers, and parents regarding the general and special educational programs as appropriateAssist in coordinating, communicating and seeking consultation with community agencies as neededMasters degree or Ed.S. in School PsychologyValid Washington School Psychology credential Knowledge of special education laws and regulations; general education curriculum; response to intervention principles; disabilities and appropriate curriculum; behavior management systemsClearance of TB test, fingerprints, and any other mandatory State/Federal licensing or certification requirementsAbility to work as a member of multi:disciplinary teamValid Washington drivers license and current automobile insurance, and insurability through Senecas automobile policyMust be willing to travel between Seneca sites. Mileage reimbursement provided.
