Alaska USA Federal Credit Union is currently recruiting for a Branch Manager in our 4th and Battery Branch to direct and administer the activities of the branch office to ensure all branch personnel are providing prompt, professional, helpful, knowledgeable and courteous member service as well as cross sales of credit union services and products. Coach, lead and motivate branch employees; promote participation in cross sales of products and services; provide in-aisle training where applicable. Meet with employees regularly on an individual and group basis to establish and reinforce sales/service goals. Recommend and implement branch promotional activities and programs on a routine basis to increase awareness of the credit union and generate new business. Coordinate and develop promotional activities with store management where applicable Responsible for the quality and accuracy of teller, new account, member service and loan transactions. Responsible for proper opening and closing of the branch, security, physical control and maintenance of the facility including: equipment, supply inventory, control and individual accountability of cash and negotiable items, general ledgers as assigned, and timely completion of management reports. Responsible for the personnel function within the branch including staffing, training, evaluating performance, employee morale, and policy compliance. Increase market share through expansion of membership with development of new and existing SG relationships as required by region. Perform property inspections and home improvement inspections as required by region. Meet with business members and prospective business members to promote the credit union's business and commercial services and solicit new business as assigned. Serve as credit union representative for Chamber of Commerce, member groups and business/service organizations as assigned Perform duties of Senior Financial Services Representative position as required Obtain state mandated insurance license to quote and bind Personal Lines insurance products, as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE: Strong communications and personnel management skills required. Must be able to lift 25 pounds. EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. CREDITABLE EXPERIENCE IN LIEU OF EDUCATION: Two years related supervisory or management experience.
