PACCAR Parts operates a network of parts distribution centers offering aftermarket support to Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF dealers and customers around the world. Aftermarket support includes customer call centers operating 24 hours a day throughout the year and technologically advanced systems to enhance inventory control and expedite order processing.
Requisition Summary 13;
Aftermarket Packaging Manager is responsible for developing and innovating the aftermarket packaging program for PACCAR Parts, with a focus on managing interdepartmental packaging goals and enforcing policies.
Job Functions / Responsibilities 13;
Working with distribution centers to identify suppliers needing improvements to their existing packaging that is failing or oversized
Make holistic packaging decisions including cross:department coordination with Purchasing, Marketing, Pricing and Operations for new product launches, product changes and conversions
Develop and implement strategies to ensure proper packaging is maintained
Managing business and system enhancements to enforce packaging requirements including vendor compliance 13;
Bachelors degree required, Masters preferred
Packaging program development/management experience
Project management skills
Ability to lead and coordiante project teams
:Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of management
:Strong PC skills including Microsoft applications
:Self:directed and multi:tasked individual able to address multiple priorities within a dynamic and technical work environment
