Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst - Manufacturing to be a part of an experienced Information Technology team. The Senior Systems Analyst must possess the desire and ability to facilitate the continuous improvement of the client operations. The Senior Systems Analysts role is to create technical solutions to further the strategic objectives of the company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): Coordinates and completes projects as project manager or team member. Oversees all aspects of technical projects including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring/summarizing progress, and preparing status reports. Prepares status reports for upper management. Acts as technical resource to the plants and engineering group. Understands both Manufacturing Execution Systems software and windows based Personal Computers (PC). Manages and oversees the estimation of projects and costs. Ensures bids are accurate and estimates quantities of materials required for project completion. Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the manufacturing group. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives. Gathers requirements from users specifications and develops code. Designs and writes manuals for users to describe installation and operating procedures. Understands manufacturing processes in industrial plants, production business processes, electrical control systems, equipment and machinery. Manage Enterprise Applications. Experienced in basic administration, configuration and system patching. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 5+ years of experience in systems integration, project and varied plant experience. Project experience performing tasks on small to large scale projects. Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly in application and database systems. Strong Object Oriented Programming Language skills. Experienced in business process mapping and reengineering Experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably in process), interfacing between business and manufacturing systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills, and interfacing with various manufacturing plant floor customers Strong T-SQL skills Experience with SQL Server, SSRS (or Crystal) and SSIS Experience with the following a plus JBoss Application Administration and Tuning, Asset Management Experience Rockwell Software FT Transaction Manager, FT Metrics, FT VantagePoint, Infor EAM You must be legally able to work in the United States.
