IT Senior Systems Voice Engineer Role Available with Kaiser Permanente Washington!

The Senior Systems Voice Engineer is a critical and valuable part of our team. This position will research, design, implement and support complex IT Servers and Systems. The IT Senior Systems Voice Engineer will be the technical expert proficient in IT systems specializing in one or more specific technology area (Infrastructure Application, Network, Server Operating Systems, Desktop Operating Systems, Virtualization, Directory Services, E-mail, Disaster Recovery, Security, Antivirus, Storage Management, Print Management, Hardware Management, Mobile Device Management, Application Deployment, PKI,) in a wide variety of technologies (i.e., software and/or hardware).

The IT Senior Systems Voice Engineer will maintain a high degree of awareness about emerging technologies and advise IT management accordingly, will provide expert advice and engineer repeatable processes relating to deployment, support and maintenance of all areas of expertise. This could include some project management of internal projects.

Qualifications

EDUCATION
Minimum Education Requirements:

Associate's Degree or equivalent experience may be substituted for the degree.

Preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience may be substituted for the degree on a year for year basis.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements:

Advanced in-depth knowledge of enterprise environments and ability to engineer solutions to include but not limited to: Server Operating Systems, Desktop Operating Systems, Virtualization, Directory Services, E-mail, Disaster Recovery, Security, Antivirus, Storage Management, Print Management, Hardware Management, Mobile Device Management, Application Deployment, PKI, and DNS. Ability to understand complex systems and IT protocols. Ability to integrate the most complex hardware and software systems. Ability to constantly adapt, learn and support new technologies. Assume full ownership/responsibility of assigned responsibilities and delivers services guidelines with little or no supervision. Strong technical and analytical skills required in solving complex systems infrastructure issues.

EXPERIENCE
Minimum Experience Requirements
:
10 or more years of progressive IT experience. Minimum of 7 years of experience researching, designing, implementing and maintaining IT infrastructure systems. Minimum of 3 years of experience engineering for large complex enterprise environment with responsibility for at least one major system.
