This is an exceptional opportunity to do innovative work that means more to you and those we serve atone of America's leading health benefits companies and a Fortune Top 50 Company.Solutions Engineer Advisor Senior will maintain active relationships with customers to determine business requirements; analyze, design, implement and develop BPM applications using Pega PRPC platform; lead requirements gathering meetings and review designs with the business; utilize Agile/Scrum methodologies; analyze and evaluate detailed business and technical requirements to create solutions; work on design solutions for external interfaces; architect and design Pega PRPC (versions 6.1 and 7.1) solutions to support enterprise applications; write declarative rules in PRPC applications; lead analysis and development effort; work with MS SQL Server database, including writing queries, stored procedures and triggers; conduct performance tuning using PAL; perform technical design reviews and code reviews; define application scope and objectives and prepare technical and/or functional specifications; configure, install and deploy TomCat, WebSphere and JVM servers; provide troubleshooting support; utilize XML, JavaScript and HTML in programming or coding; take high level enterprise strategy and convert into system/service level deliverables for project delivery; and deliver application technology solutions and data information planning efforts. Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus 7 years of analysis, design, implementation and development of BPM applications using Pega PRPC platform. Specific skills/other requirements ? must possess the following: writing queries on DB2, Oracle or SQL Server database (1 year); performance tuning using PAL (1 year); Agile or Scrum methodology (2 years); installation of Pega PRPC applications on Tomcat and WebSphere servers (1 year); and XML, JavaScript and HTML programming or coding (1 year).
