What you'll be doing...

As the Senior Manager Technical Accounting in our talented accounting group, you'll be responsible for supporting business systems projects impacting the finance team, managing technical research, applying complex accounting topics and assisting with other accounting and reporting related areas.

Some of the things you'll be doing include

* Support the review and application of complex technical accounting concepts

* Participate in business development activities including domestic and international growth

* Contribute to internal policies and procedures, the adoption of new accounting standards and operational changes to business systems, tax reporting, etc.

* Evaluate new business transactions for accounting implications

* Assist financial reporting team including SEC and international statutory compliance

* Help define key business metrics for accounting team and develop internal reporting using Tableau to improve efficiencies

* Support period-end accounting close including journal entries, accruals and account reconciliations

* Contribute to audit preparation by providing requested documentation and analysis

* Provide creativity and critical thinking, which inspires innovation and propels team members beyond the status quo

* Ensures adequate focus on personal professional growth relevant to taking on more challenging assignments, in line with standard career progression

Who you are *LI-BF1

* Experienced. 8+ years of experience in accounting, finance or public accounting role

* Educated. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, preferably accounting, and CPA license

* Knowledgeable. Subject matter expert in US GAAP with a successful track record of applying in a practical manner. Experience with IFRS preferred.

* Technically Savvy. Strong interest and experience working with technology, including new software tools and systems implementations.

* Problem Solver. Ability to analyze financial data and clearly and concisely document the interpretation of financial analysis, with exceptional attention to detail while meeting deadlines

* Excellent Communication. Ability to interact professionally with all individuals throughout the organization including executive management.

* A True Team Player. Excellent customer service skills with an upbeat positive attitude
