Job Overview:
The Sales Strategy Analyst is a key member of the Sales Operations and Strategy team. This position requires a strong technical background and knowledge of business needs to support the objectives of the Sales Organization. The Sales Strategy Analyst will be responsible for understanding, analyzing and distributing information critical to the success of the organization, and will develop and execute processes to ensure the timely completion of recurring tasks. Agility is required to address changing demands and respond quickly to ad hoc requests. Excellent organizational and time management skills, along with strong attention to detail are required.
Responsibilities
:
Build thoughtfully designed Tableau dashboards for sales teams and Senior Leaders, collaborating internally within Operations and externally with key stakeholders
:
Leverage existing data and reporting to analyze trends and provide input and recommendations that will help improve sales efficiency, forecasting and performance metrics
:
Define and develop standard reports, as well as ad:hoc requests leveraging efficient best practices.
:
Perform analysis by understanding the business needs, requirements and trends
:
Assist with revenue forecasting, budgeting, and analysis
:
Provide trend, market, and competitive research and analysis
:
Assist in creating territory/region assignments, structuring incentive plans, and setting quotas
:
Monitor sales processes and provide statistical analysis of performance metrics
:
Work cross functionally to develop new tools and/or processes to increase the field's productivity, communication or reporting capabilities
:
Adhere to project standards, provide progress status on completed tasks and outstanding issues, and produce quality work in a timely manner
:
Performs other duties as assigned
:
Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies
Education, Experience and Training required:
:
Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of work experience in sales operations, business intelligence or equivalent function with significant exposure to sales teams
:
Experience building long term revenue forecast models
:
Experience in customer:facing roles such as in sales, pre:sales or consulting
:
Demonstrated ability to learn and develop rapid proficiency with new systems
:
Strong knowledge of Tableau, SQL, VBA, and Excel
:
Ability to work independently
:
Ability to pass a background check
