We’re seeking an experienced, highly competent Oracle ADBA to oversee our customers’ systems and ensure flawless performance. This exciting, high-visibility opportunity will allow the selected candidate to work hand-in-hand with the top telco service providers in North America. - Database tuning and performance monitoring. 
- General troubleshooting and consultation with development teams. 
- Application tuning and performance monitoring. 
- Creation and maintenance of documentation/standards. 
- Capacity planning and design architecture 
- Provide 7×24 support when required as part of our dynamic team.
- Offer expert evaluation of Oracle features and Oracle related products.

Required Experience and Skills:

- A minimum of 8 years in-depth experience with Oracle DBs and Application DB.

- Expertise in GoldenGate is required.

- Practical, hands-on experience with Oracle RAC.

- Knowledge and experience in fail over and geo redundancy solutions.
- In depth knowledge of the underlying operating system or systems hosting Oracle/GoldenGate platforms. 
- Hands-on experience in physical database design. 
- Proven capability performance tuning and monitoring both Oracle and its underlying operating system. 
- Detailed and strategic understanding of how Oracle acquires and manages resources. 
- PL/SQL programming.

Skill Set (Technologies/Tools):

- 8+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA/Application ADBA.
- Oracle Certification preferred (OCA or higher).
- SQL and PL/SQL, Eclipse 3.3+, Solaris 10, UNIX scripting, DB Schema Design, DB Performance tuning, Oracle 10g+, TOAD 9.6+ or similar.
- DB Artisan or similar, Microsoft Office 2007+, Microsoft Visio 2007+.


Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, Masters degree preferred
