Join us and make a difference The IT Service Delivery Manager (SDM) will serve as a technical leader for all aspects of the cloud application portfolio. This role will manage a team of technical service delivery managers and assist with coordination of business and technical teams to define and develop comprehensive technical solutions to support the needs of Fred Hutch. This role will also evaluate technologies, manage vendors, SOWs, SLAs, contracts, and the RFP process. The IT Service Delivery Manager will work with functional teams to assess and develop technical, business, and integration requirements. This role will work with the IT leadership team to develop strategic direction for the team and technology including development and execution of a technology cloud roadmap for current on:premises applications along with roadmap for the current cloud application portfolio. ReportingThe IT Service Delivery Manager for SaaS solutions reports to the Director of Enterprise Application Services. ScopeThe IT SDM orchestrates the SD team and defines and delivers cloud services and manages the cloud portfolio. Using a combination of technical knowledge, people management, and influence, to deliver cloud solutions, the SDM provides leadership which ensures service and technical expectations are met; proposed solutions will meet both customerA?s needs and operational efficiencies; provides exceptional vendor management and escalation/problem:resolution frameworks, and is astute in short:term and long:term planning. The SDM manager provides direction for various projects and activities; reviews and evaluates the SDM teamA?s work, portfolio, and prepares performance evaluations, partnering with leadership to deliver process improvements and strategic direction. The SDM manager has expertise in collaboration, building strong partnerships, complex problem:resolution and people management.A: People management: coaching, mentoring, providing overall leadership and performance management. Recruiting, developing, retaining and motivating a team operating at a high performance level.A: Projects: Technical sponsor for select projects, providing project oversight and ensuring the project meets its stated objectives and deliverables. Define and develop comprehensive technical solutions to support the needs of Fred HutchA?s applications. Facilitate a collaborative environment with project team members; business and technical owners; and other stakeholders to establish a culture of trust and open communication. Must be able to effectively and clearly communicate to the end:user community and discuss solutions in a non:technical manner.A: Vendor Management: Manage support lifecycle of technical issues/enhancements/out:sourced development, management of: SLAs, SOWs, contract, vendor, budget and renewals management. A: Building Partnerships and Collaboration: Develop and maintain healthy relationships with CIT manager peers, across the Hutch and externally within the IT community. Interface with other IT functional area leaders to define cloud infrastructure and application initiatives and solutions in support of improving service efficiency and effectiveness.
