Job Summary Under the general guidance and supervision of the VP of Corporate Risk Management and the Information Security Officer this role will support the Credit UnionA cents € (TM) s information security function, to include the overall information security strategy, security architecture development and regulatory compliance oversight. Essential Job Functions Assist in planning, management and execution of vulnerability and risk assessment projects Perform audits of enterprise IT systems and other information security controls Research and track information about current security threats and potential vulnerabilities Plan and execution of threat and risk assessments of enterprise IT systems and assist in providing recommendations on how to mitigate risks Collect, monitor and analyze IT security metrics to measure the effectiveness of credit union IT security management processes Assist in writing and updating elements of IT security governance (eg policies, procedures, standards) Provide assistance to the Information Security Officer and SMEs in IT and IT security projects and initiatives Provide support to end-users of IT security systems and services Conduct new team member orientation and additional end-user education as required Perform other duties as assigned Qualification Required 3+ years of experience in the field of Information Security, IT Audit, or related disciplines Ability to interpret and translate business requirements into technical security requirements that meet enterprise security standards and policies Understanding of the commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the information security field including, but not limited to operating systems and network security, vulnerability analysis, intrusion detection, incident response, etc. Experience with conducting audits and risk assessments of IT systems Experience with developing and implementing information security policies and procedures Practical experience with operation of commonly used information security systems and tools including: anti-virus, multi-factor authentication, SIEM, IDS, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, PowerShell, LanSweeper, Wireshark, NMAP, etc. Strong communication skills including both technical and business writing, documentation and presentation skills Qualifications Desired BachelorA cents € (TM) s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience Professional designation:CISM or CISSP Work Environment This job requires the ability to use desktop computers. Handle multiple commitments and meet deadlines. Work a flexible work schedule as needed.
