As a Help Desk Technician I, you will provide front line support to end users through resolution of help desk tickets or by reassignment to the appropriate resource. Responsibilities: . Provides remote Level I technical assistance and support, and resolves problems related to the use of computer hardware and software for system end users . Researches, resolves, responds to, and documents end user inquiries; and escalates or reassigns issues and problems as needed to appropriate resource for resolution . Installs desktop software remotely using tools such as Group Policy, SCCM, and manual install protocols . Troubleshoots operating system and LAN/WAN issues . Provides remote support for phone, VOIP/voicemail, and PDA devices . Maintains accurate and timely records in time tracking systems, and weekly status and metrics report repositories . Documents current processes, procedures, and routing guidelines; and builds, maintains and contributes to a knowledgebase for financial and administrative systems Qualifications: . High School Diploma/GED required; College coursework/degree preferred . Minimum of two years of experience providing end-user support services in an enterprise environment. . Experience troubleshooting in the Windows desktop environment (networking, OS, Microsoft Office suite, PC hardware, printers) preferred . Strong written and verbal communication skills required . Ability to meet standards for ticket system management and documentation responsibilities . Ability to work in a team-orientated/collaborative environment . Ability to multitask and prioritize workload, and adapt to new processes and procedures in a fast paced environment . Ability to handle confidential information in a reliable manner . Ability to demonstrate strong customer service skills, and foster a high degree of end user satisfaction through the delivery of quality and timely service . Ability to convey technical issues and material to non-technical audience . Experience using automated helpdesk ticketing systems . Exceptional internal and external customer service skills. At least 1-2 years in a similar position supporting internal users in a structured and team environment o Windows 7 and higher o Microsoft Office Suite 2014 and higher o Ticketing system experience o Any ITIL experience will be desired as well .
