Seattle art classes:
INTRODUCTION TO CARTOONING

In this enjoyable introductory Seattle cartooning class, you'll learn how to create your own cartoon characters and draw them in different poses and actions, and communicate a variety of emotions, attitudes and expressions in your drawings. We'll study how to draw cartoon faces and figures, backgrounds and animal characters.

We'll start out in pencil, then learn how to finish our cartoon drawings in ink, and also learn methods of coloring cartoons and comics. Students will also learn possible approaches to getting your cartoon artwork published.

This seminar is held in a classroom on the University of Washington campus in Seattle, and is sponsored by the Experimental College, a noncredit program of the ASUW (Associated Students University of Washington) and Classesandworkshops.com
