Challenge yourself, your peers and our industry by shaping what health care looks like and doing your life's best work.(sm) We are currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Seattle, WA Administrative Positions in this function include more traditional administrative / clerical support roles including: answering the telephone, typing / word processing of documents, maintaining calendars and setting up meetings, making travel arrangements, copying, faxing, greeting visitors, setting up files, tracking expenses, and coordinating building and equipment maintenance. This position supports executives at the SLT level and below. Primary Responsibilities: Provides high level administrative support for senior leader and teamAttends meetings, takes notes and organizes for senior leader Will put together lunch and other events as requestedAssist in drafting of communicationsHas ability to work with cross functional teams Work does not usually require established proceduresWorks independentlyMentors othersActs as a resource for othersCoordinates others' activitiesRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent5+ years of administrative support experience, at least 3 of which have included support of senior executivesPrior experience taking meeting notes and organizing information Experience supporting multiple executives within a fast - pace and changing environmentIntermediate or better level of proficiency with MS Office applications, specifically Word, Excel PowerPoint, Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects and deadlines simultaneously with attention to detailExcellent time management and organizational skills balancing multiple prioritiesAbility to work in a large, matrixed corporate environmentProven ability to build relationships cross - functionally and lead toward common goalsExcellent verbal and written communication and grammatical skills Demonstrated experience in preparing senior - level presentations and reportsMust have a polished demeanor and be comfortable working with people at all levelsExperience coordinating large meetings, including WebEx virtual meetings and teleconferences, and event planningTakes accountability and ownership of tasks, performance standards and quality results Preferred Qualifications:BA or AAExperience supporting c-suite Careers at UnitedHealthcare Employer & Individual.
