Senior Manager of Strategic Programs is responsible for launching and managing cross:functional, high:impact, strategic projects that drive greater efficiency and operational disciplines for the Global Product and Technology organization. The successful candidate must possess thought leadership, exceptional problem solving skills, passion to deliver results, ability to influence stakeholders and deal with ambiguity in a fast:paced environment.
Define, plan, implement and drive continuous improvement for key planning and operational processes in Concur's product and technology organization.
Orchestrate the strategic initiatives/programs and play the quarterback role bringing the right leaders/teams together to resolve cross:disciplinary challenges.
Partner with internal teams to develop systems and tools as needed to enable more robust operational planning and process improvement implementation.
Assemble cross:functional teams and coordinate independent or interconnected work streams across the organization. Roll up sleeves to manage critical projects and remove roadblocks when needed.
Drive change management and accountability across the organization. Report results and progress with ongoing cadence that promotes continuous improvement.
Qualifications, Education, Experience and Training Required:
7+ years of progressive leadership experience managing complex cross:functional initiatives or programs in the technology sector.
Strong planning and program management skills.
Exceptional analytical and problem:solving skills.
Adept at conflict management. Strong stakeholder influencing skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Must be detail:oriented, self:motivated, and able to deal with ambiguity.
Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred.
