POSITION SUMMARYThe Office Manager is responsible for ensuring a smooth, efficient, and welcoming office environment for the Saltchuk corporate home office. This position will play a critical role in our upcoming office move, including new office set up and coordination with two of our business units who will be housed in the space. The role will manage reception and other office support staff and serve as the primary liaison with the building landlords and tenant(s), ensuring outstanding customer service. JOB RESPONSIBILITIESManages administrative support staff and oversees and creates policies and procedures as needed to ensure smooth office operations.Serves as the primary liaison with the building landlord and tenant(s), partnering on various building matters (communication, security, maintenance, tenant improvements, janitorial, parking, etc.)Oversees space planning and office moves, furniture and equipment needs.Ensures office equipment and technologies are supported by vendors and that user questions/concerns are being addressed in a timely manner.Manages the relationship with facility support vendors and regularly evaluates whether the services are being performed efficiently.Oversees efficient operation of meeting rooms and facilities, storage and document management. Ensures office is orderly and professional at all times.Ensures offices are stocked with needed supplies on an ongoing basis.Arranges travel as needed, including detailed itineraries and schedule coordination.Assists with organizing events and meetings as needed, including meeting logistics, preparations, and coordinating food and beverages.Supervises and supports the front desk and office assistant. Works closely with administrative staff at the corporate home office and in our business units to ensure efficient operation and high levels of customer service.Assists with organizing events and meetings as needed, including meeting logistics and preparing and distributing meeting materials.Provides proactive, high level administrative support to senior leaders and others as needed. Anticipates needs to ensure appropriate inclusion, communication, preparation and support.Teams with and supports other administrative professionals.Assists with special projects and performs other assignments as needed.QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of progressively complex senior administrative and/or office management experience.Experience managing office support staff and front desk operations desired.Previous experience managing an office move helpful.Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication skills required.Outstanding customer service skills.Excellent organizational skills.Ability to act as an ambassador to a variety of constituencies, reinforcing the CompanyA cents € (TM) s values.Previous experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative work environment.Demonstrated initiative and independent judgment.Advanced proficiency in MS Office.Event planning experience helpful.BA degree or related experience required.
